So, I'd guess at least a 200 point difference, as Lichess 1900s play significantly worse than Chess.com 1700s. Edit: I think there are more casual or bad players on chess.com overall which deflates the rating. Chess.com gives my 1800 a 99.5 percentile while my 1950 on lichess is only 88 percentile.

I still don’t use “rating” as a measurement. There is an addon called “tinybuster” or “littlebuster” or “ratingbuster” (can’t remember). It turns rating into raw % values. Add another addon like (Extendedcharacterstats) and you can just look at how much hit or expertise you have.

An APA 7/9 would be a high 500 and up Fargo ratings, maybe 575-600. Each level bellow that subtract about 75-85 points. It's a bit varied depending on the area but is very close to that from players I have ran into. Mid 500 (say 540) Fargo can hit max rating in APA probably but would be a bit on the cusp of a 6 or 7.

I hate star ratings or any 1-5 rating scale. Not as much as I hate a 2 star or thumbs up rating scale. I use a 1-10 scale slightly based around typical IMDb ratings, 7 being pretty good, 8 being really good, 9+ a masterpiece, anything below a 5 absolute trash. I also do letter grades.
